Christmas in Brighton is a magical time with a wide variety of events happening to help everyone get into the festive spirit. Whether it's ice skating, a winter solstice parade, community events, traditional panto, an escape room or visiting Father Christmas himself, there's a whole host of things to do this season.

To help you plan your Christmas in Brighton we have put together the Brighton Advent Calendar & we'll be revealing a festive event you can enjoy right up until the big day itself.

We'll also be posting reminders on Instagram, X and Facebook - join the conversation by using #BrightonAdventCalendar and let us know what events you're hoping to see or simply what Brighton Festive Events you have happy memories of.

Please note that most of the #BrightonAdventCalendar events do not take place on the date they are revealed as we want to give you time to plan your visit. All events are happening, or available to book, throughout December and are delightfully wintry & festive.

Christmas Carol Escape Room

Experience the magical classic, A Christmas Carol, in a brand new way when this escape room and immersive theatre experience comes back to Preston Manor this Christmas. Be a part of the Charles Dickens’ favourite as you move around the Manor meeting the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Christmas’s Yet to Come solving puzzles as you go. See Preston Manor all decked out for Christmas as a really sumptuous and unique Christmas adventure. Suitable for families, groups of friends and colleagues.
Burning the Clocks

The dark grip of long wintry nights is broken by a flicker of light. Started in 1993, Burning the Clocks represents an alternative to the commercial Christmas. Thousands of people gather to make paper lanterns to carry through the city before burning them on the beach as a token for the end of the year and to greet the lengthening days.
